Here is the definition for Scoot-O-Late:

Formations:
Parallel Waves, Columns, Outfacing Lines, In Facing Lines, 8 Chain Thru, and Trade By.

Definition:
In-Facers or designated dancers Turn Thru, while the others flip to their adjacent spot. If there are no In-Facers all will Flip to adjacent spots (as in Partner trade).

All 1/2 Split Circulate

Results:
Waves make Twin Diamonds
Columns make Point to Point Diamonds
Out Facing Lines (all flip) make Right Handed Tidal wave
In Facing Lines (must designate dancers to Turn Thru) make Right Handed Waves
8 Chain Thru makes (must designate dancers to Turn Thru) make Right Handed Tidal Waves
Trade By (all flip) make Right Handed Waves

Notes:

When doing a Facing Couples version if the Left Side Dancer is designated, the move will be smooth for all parties. However, if the Right Side Dancer is designated, the move will be a reversal of body flow if the Turn Thru is completely finished according to the definition.
There are a couple of different cheats that you could use:
Have the Right Side designated dancers stay connected to become the centers of the formation. (they would do an In-Facers Part of a Follow Your Neighbor with a left hand)
Or you can have the designated dancers "stop short" of finishing the Turn Thru so that they could walk smoothly into the 1/2 Split Circulate.
